Dallas County, TX — March 16, 2024, Yahaira Toro Camacho was injured in a single-vehicle accident at around 12:18 a.m. on North Town East Boulevard.
According to initial details from authorities, Yahaira Toro Camacho's vehicle was involved in an accident after proceeding through the intersection of North Town East Boulevard and North Belt Line Road.

It appears the vehicle swerved to avoid another vehicle, which led to it running off the road and striking a light pole on the center median. Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Folks may be content to wait for authorities to get answers, and waiting for answers is prudent. However, waiting for the police to provide all the facts of a crash might not always provide a complete picture.
Generally speaking, police investigations are focused on determining if any laws were broken, not necessarily on gathering all possible evidence. Especially when it comes to nuances like vehicle defects or external factors that could have contributed to the accident, that can lead to oversights and mistakes.
That's why I found long ago, especially where serious injuries or unusual circumstances are involved, it's often wise to consider an independent investigation. This can help ensure that all potential factors surrounding a crash, including those that might not be immediately apparent, are thoroughly examined. I see no reason right now why this crash would be an exception.
