With any crash involving a commercial vehicle, it's important to know just how thorough authorities were in their investigations. These scenes can be rather chaotic, and gathering and preserving evidence can sometimes take a back seat to clearing the scene. That's why it's often helpful for families to follow up with authorities and ask some key questions.
