Britni Martinez, 1 Injured in Car Accident on U.S. 380 in Wise County, TX
Wise County, TX — March 16, 2024, Britni Martinez and one other person were injured in a car accident just after 1:45 p.m. along U.S. Highway 380.
According to authorities, 38-year-old Britni Martinez was traveling in an eastbound Honda Civic on U.S. Highway 380 in the vicinity east of C.R. 2320 when the accident occurred.

The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reported to have been rainy and wet. Officials indicate that a westbound Nissan Armada SUV occupied by a 45-year-old woman may have been traveling at speeds deemed unsafe when the weather and road conditions are taken into account. The Armada reportedly lost control, skidding off of the left side of the road and driving through the center median before entering the oncoming eastbound lanes of the highway. This resulted in a collision between the front-end of the Armada and the front-right corner of the Honda Civic.
Martinez incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck, while the woman from the Armada suffered apparently moderate injuries. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
