David Webb III Killed, 1 Injured in Truck Accident in Cleveland, TX
Cleveland, TX — October 19, 2023, David Webb III was killed and one other person was injured in a truck accident just before 8:30 in the morning along S.H. 105.
According to reports, 33-year-old David Webb III was traveling in a eastbound minivan on S.H. 105 in the vicinity west of the Plum Grove Road intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the minivan switched from the eastbound lane into the westbound lane in order to attempt to pass another vehicle at an unsafe time. This resulted in a head-on collision with an oncoming 18-wheeler. Webb reportedly incurred fatal injuries as a result of the accident, having been declared deceased. The 55-year-old driver of the 18-wheeler sustained suspected minor injuries in the accident, as well; he was transported to a local hospital in order to be treated.
The accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area were reported to have been clear and dry. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
