Deanna Christine Isabelle, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Carrollton, TX
Carrollton, TX — February 26, 2024, Deanna Christine Isabelle and one other person were injured in a car accident just before 6:00 a.m. along the Sam Rayburn Tollway.
According to authorities, 59-year-old Deanna Isabelle was traveling in a disabled Mazda in the northbound lanes of the Sam Rayburn Tollway due to a previous accident in the vicinity south of Carrollton Parkway when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that the Mazda was rear-ended by a northbound Honda CR-V occupied by a 32-year-old woman. The collision caused the Mazda to spin counter-clockwise, its back-end then making contact with the concrete barrier on the northwest side of the road where it came to a stop.
Isabelle incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck, while the woman from the Honda suffered apparently moderate injuries. They were each transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive treatment.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
