Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
There weren't many details about this crash released publicly, and I can only hope investigators were more thorough behind the scenes. It can surprise people how often authorities move on without really giving a deadly crash the attention it deserves. However, I get calls all the time from families who find themselves weeks or months down the line still asking the same questions they had from day one. This is why independent investigations often end up being necessary to pick up the slack and fill in whatever gaps authorities may have left in the story. Whether or not that would be necessary here remains to be seen.
