Kenneth Watson Killed, Darrell Hesse, 2 Injured in Car Accident in Cooke County, TX
Cooke County, TX — December 25, 2023, Kenneth Watson was killed and Darrell Hesse and two others were injured after a car accident around 8:00 p.m. on U.S. 82.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 82 and County Road 163.

Officials said that 64-year-old Kenneth Watson was in a Ford F-150 which was reportedly going northbound on C.R. 163. 63-year-old Darrell Hesse, a 61-year-old woman, and a 12-year-old were in a Jeep Grand Cherokee going eastbound on U.S. 82. The vehicles entered the crossing simultaneous, resulting in a t-bone collision.
Due to the crash, Watson sustained fatal injuries. Hesse had apparently minor injuries while his passengers had apparently moderate injuries. No other injuries were reported. Right now, the exact cause of the crash cannot be confirmed.
