Lubbock Man Injured in Truck Accident on Highway 302 in Ector County, TX
Ector County, TX — February 15, 2024, a Lubbock man was injured following a truck accident at around 5:00 p.m. along Highway 302.
According to officials, the crash happened along the highway just west of West Odessa. It appears that a 31-year-old Lubbock man was in a Dodge Ram going northwest along the highway. Approaching an 18-wheeler, the pickup somehow collided with the trailer. This led to the pickup going off-road and overturning.

As a result of the crash, the Lubbock man sustained serious injuries. No other injuries were reported. Right now, no further information about the crash can be confirmed.

As common as it can involve failure to control speed and distracted driving, it can also involve anything from brake failure to getting cut off to medical conditions.
