Pedestrian Killed in Car Accident on U.S. 175 in Henderson County, TX
Henderson County, TX — November 22, 2023, a man was killed due to a car versus pedestrian accident that happened around 8:30 p.m. on U.S. 175.
Preliminary details about the accident released by authorities indicates that the incident occurred along the highway near Richardson Road between Athens and Eustace.

According to officials, a 28-year-old man was on foot at the time when it appears he walked into the lanes of travel. While there, a Mercedes-Benz SUV did not avoid the man in time, striking him in the roadway.
Due to the collision, the victim sustained fatal injuries. No one in the vehicle appeared to have any injuries. Right now, additional circumstances surrounding the accident are unavailable.
