Samuel Torres, 1 Injured in Car Accident on Wayside Dr. in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — February 9, 2024, Samuel Torres and one other person were injured in a car accident at approximately 8:30 p.m. along Wayside Drive.
According to authorities, 19-year-old Samuel Torres was traveling in an eastbound Jeep Grand Cherokee on Belfort Street approaching the South Wayside Drive intersection when the accident occurred.

Officials indicate that a southbound Cadillac occupied by a 30-year-old man was at the stop sign on Wayside drive and, for unknown reasons, entered the intersection at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front end of the Cadillac and the back left side of the Jeep.
Torres incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. The man from the Cadillac apparently sustained moderate injuries, as well. Both victims were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
