Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
When accidents like this happen, it's easy for people to assume they are the result of a simple mistake or bad luck. However, based on my experience, accidents involving large trucks often have deeper, more complex causes that require thorough investigation.
In this case, understanding why the truck veered into the stationary vehicle is crucial. Was the truck driver distracted or fatigued? Did a mechanical failure contribute to the crash? These and other factors must be carefully examined to determine what truly caused the incident.
The role of the trucking company should also be scrutinized. If there were issues with the truck’s maintenance or if the driver lacked proper training, the company could be held accountable for the crash. Investigating these aspects is essential for a comprehensive understanding of the event.
Ultimately, the goal is to uncover the truth and provide answers to those affected by the crash. Even if it requires conducting an independent investigation to obtain vital evidence, it is crucial to consider every factor to ensure that those impacted by the crash receive the clarity and closure they deserve.
