2 Injured in Truck Accident on White Settlement Rd. in Parker County, TX
Parker County, TX — February 2, 2024, two people were injured in a truck accident at approximately 5:30 p.m. along White Settlement Road.
According to authorities, a 37-year-old man was traveling in a westbound Ford F-450 with a trailer in tow along White Settlement Road n the vicinity east of Remuda Drive when the accident took place.

The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reported to have been rainy and wet. Officials indicate that the truck reportedly lost traction and began to go into an uncontrolled skid. It allegedly veered left, crossing over the center line and entering the eastbound lanes of the roadway where it sideswiped an oncoming Chrysler Town and Country mini van occupied by a woman of unknown age and an 18-year-old girl.
The 18-year-old sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of the crash, but the other woman from the minivan incurred reportedly severe injuries. Both were transported to a local medical facility in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
