Houston, TX — November 10, 2024, Daniel Quintanilla was injured as the result of a car accident at around 3:50 a.m. along the Southwest Freeway.

According to initial details about the accident, it happened along southbound lanes of I-69/U.S. 59 in the area of West Bellfort Avenue.

Investigators said that 23-year-old Daniel Quintanilla was in an Infiniti going along the freeway. In a series of events not confirmed right now, the Infiniti and a Toyota Corolla collided. This resulted in Daniel Quintanilla sustaining serious injuries.

Any serious car accident is going to involve challenges when it comes to investigations. Sometimes, authorities dedicate the time and effort needed to ensure nothing important slips through the cracks. Other times, though, officers are pulled between multiple priorities, and accident reconstruction tends to fall low on the list.
