Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
While an accident like this may seem straight-forward, there could always be unique challenges to overcome. That's why it's always best steps are taken early on to prepare a family with as much evidence as they can get. Even if some factors seem unlikely, leaving gaps can give insurance companies a foothold to avoid their responsibility after a serious accident. To keep everything honest and to most efficiently help families move forward, ensuring there's no question about what led to the accident is crucial. Hopefully steps were taken beyond these preliminary reports to see that happen.
