Pedestrian Killed in Car Accident on Leopard Street in Corpus Christi, TX
Corpus Christi, TX — March 27, 2022, a pedestrian was killed due to a car accident that took place at around 8:09 p.m. along Leopard Street.
Investigators said in preliminary public statements that the collision occurred near the intersection of Leopard Street and Starlite Lane.

According to officials, a 60-year-old man was walking at the time and reportedly on eastbound lanes of Leopard Street. While there, a vehicle did not avoid the man in time, striking him in the roadway. As a result of this collision, the unidentified man ultimately succumbed to fatal injuries.
It does not appear that the vehicle left the scene, and there are no reported charges or citations relating to the collision itself. Authorities did say alcohol was investigated as a factor, however additional details can't be confirmed right now.
