Pablo Pachuco Sanchez Killed in Semi-Truck Accident in Dallas, TX
Dallas, TX — November 3, 2023, Pablo Pachuco Sanchez was killed following a semi-truck accident at around 10:42 a.m. along Interstate 45.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash occurred in the area of Ferris Street along northbound lanes of the interstate.

According to officials, 24-year-old Pablo Pachuco Sanchez was in a tractor-trailer traveling along I-45. Ahead, another semi braked suddenly, and Pachuco Sanchez's truck rear-ended that 18-wheeler. Upon doing so, authorities say the cargo on Pachuco Sanchez's trailer shifted forward, went into the cabin, and killed Pachuco Sanchez. There did not appear to be any other injuries.
Reading about such awful events, it stands out to me authorities haven't mentioned at all who they believe loaded this cargo. Some may not put that kind of thought into what happened here, as they may see all of this as just an unavoidable tragedy. That's possible, though unlikely. Others may think it's the driver's own fault, since truckers are expected to inspect their cargo. But even if this was due to a mistake that could have been caught during a pre-trip check, that wouldn't excuse other parties if their the ones who improperly loaded the cargo in the first place.
So could it be that workers at a business the victim picked the cargo up from contributed to this accident? Could it have been co-workers of the victim? Was the victim given proper equipment by his employer? These are just some of the questions I have yet to see authorities answers, so I can only hope they've been more thorough with the victim's family than what little public information I'm seeing.
