Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
I certainly don't have enough information to jump to any kind of conclusions, though a lot of folks don't let that stop them when it comes to motorcycle wrecks. Simply put, this crash could involve anything from mechanical issues to a tire blowout to road hazards. But when people see a motorcyclist, they immediately assume reckless driving caused the crash. That happens, but those assumptions inevitably lead to a lot of safe riders being wrongfully blamed for accidents they couldn't avoid. That's why it's best in these situations to just let the evidence speak for itself.
