Orlando Payen Injured in Motorcycle Truck Accident in Big Spring, TX
Howard County, TX — February 13, 2024, Orlando Payen was injured in a motorcycle versus truck accident at approximately 6:10 p.m. along the I.H. 20 service road.
According to authorities, 48-year-old Orlando Payen was on foot near a parked motorcycle walking westbound along the westbound service road for Interstate Highway 20 in the vicinity west of F.M. 700 when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, both Payen and the motorcycle were struck by the front right side of a westbound 18-wheeler. The big rig allegedly continued westward, neglecting to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim. Payen incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the collision; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
