York County, PA — March 12, 2025, one person was injured in a truck accident shortly before 6:15 a.m. along Lincoln Highway (U.S. Highway 30).

According to authorities, one person was traveling in a westbound pickup truck with a box trailer in tow on Lincoln Highway in the vicinity of the Locust Avenue intersection when the accident took place.

The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an eastbound 18-wheeler side-swiped the pickup truck. The impact apparently sent the pickup off of the right side of the roadway where it crashed into a barn wall.

The person who had been behind the wheel of the pickup sustained injuries of unknown severity over the course of the accident—though they were apparently non-life-threatening, according to reports. He was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
