Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
With any crash involving a motorcycle, it's worth making sure authorities are being fair in their investigations. Unfortunately, a lot of folks have a negative bias against motorcyclists. This can lead them to jump to conclusions without really digging into the facts. Without unbiased, independent investigators around to pick up the slack, motorcyclists can sometimes find it challenging to tell their side of the story. Maybe authorities are being more thorough here, but it's just not something anyone should take for granted.
