Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
It sometimes surprises people just how often I get calls about single-vehicle wrecks. People may think these accidents are simple, but they can be uniquely challenging simply due to how often they're viewed as a low priority. This sometimes means authorities end up jumping to conclusions rather than letting the evidence speak for itself.
That's one of the reasons independent investigators are such valuable allies. Either they can confirm that authorities have looked into everything and did a good job, or they can show where police came up short and make sure any overlooked details are brought to light. That way, those involved in an accident can at least be sure they're getting the full story.
