Hopefully, authorities can release more information to the public. Oftentimes when there's a resolution to a hit-and-run, it's because someone sees information in the news that helps them connect the dots to someone they know. Once that happens, there can be steps to find out why that driver fled and whether or not there might be additional consequences beyond holding them accountable for leaving the scene. It's never too late for a family to see a resolution to a senseless accident like this, so authorities should continue their efforts as much as possible going forward until more details come to light.
