Anahi Flores Injured in Alleged Intoxicated Driver Accident in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — April 28, 2024, Anahi Flores was injured following an alleged intoxicated driver accident apparently resulting in charges.
Harris County officials released few details surrounding the accident. Their current information says that Anahi Flores sustained serious bodily injury in a motor vehicle accident. That incident was reportedly due to an allegedly intoxicated driver, who appears to be facing a charge for intoxication assault. Right now, additional details can't be confirmed.

I haven't seen much information about this accident, though I hope authorities recommending charges is a sign they're taking things seriously. That said, I have yet to see them say they're investigating any local alcohol providers. A lot of accidents resulting in intoxication assault charges involve negligent bars or other providers who may also be on the hook for their role in the crash. While Harris County is better than most jurisdictions around the state in this regard, even they can miss culprits who aren't brought to their attention by outside parties. Either way, there's still likely a lot more to this story.
