Andre Marshall Injured in Car Accident on Walters Rd. in Harris County, TX
Harris County, TX — July 12, 2024, Andre Marshall was injured due to a car accident just after 9:00 in the morning along Walters Road.
According to authorities, 51-year-old Andre Marshall was traveling in a northeast bound GMC Sierra pickup truck on Sablechase Drive at the Walter Road intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southeast bound Infiniti SUV entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right-of-way. A collision consequently occurred between the front-end of the Infiniti and the left side of the Sierra.
Marshall reportedly sustained serious injuries over the course of the accident; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time.
Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
When vehicles collide at an intersection, the immediate focus is often on who had the right-of-way. But that’s only the start of what should be a much broader investigation. Without asking the deeper questions, key contributing factors often go unnoticed.
1. Did the authorities thoroughly investigate the crash?
In a failure-to-yield situation, it’s easy for investigators to settle on a basic narrative and move on. But a full investigation should go further—mapping out both vehicles’ movements, measuring speeds and distances, and assessing the timing of the SUV’s entry into the intersection. Did officers verify whether either driver had a clear view of the crossing path? Did they collect witness statements or video footage from nearby? Thorough crash work depends on more than just a written summary.
2. Has anyone looked into the possibility that a vehicle defect caused the crash?
If the Infiniti entered the intersection when it shouldn't have, it's fair to question whether a vehicle malfunction played a role. Was there a brake failure, steering issue, or problem with lane-assist systems? Even a minor fault can result in an unexpected movement or delay. Unless someone conducted a full mechanical inspection, it’s possible that a contributing factor went completely unexamined.
3. Has all the electronic data relating to the crash been collected?
Modern vehicles log key information like speed, brake input, and steering direction. In this case, data from the Infiniti could confirm whether the driver attempted to stop or veer away. The GMC’s systems might show the moment of impact or any evasive actions. Phone usage, GPS records, and nearby cameras could also fill in critical gaps. If this data hasn’t been reviewed, the investigation may be missing the most accurate version of events.
Without a deeper look at vehicle behavior, driver input, and available technology, these kinds of crashes are often oversimplified. The goal shouldn’t be to wrap up the case quickly—but to get it right.
Takeaways:
- Intersection crashes need detailed reconstructions to fully understand timing and driver behavior.
- Vehicle malfunctions could lead to unexpected or dangerous movements.
- Digital evidence often offers the clearest picture of what really occurred.
