Commentary
There isn't much information about what went wrong here, but no doubt some will jump to conclusions anyway. Simply put, I've been in this line of work for over 30 years. It doesn't matter if someone's hasty assumptions are right or wrong. What matters is that the victim isn't around to give their side of the story. That's why it's important for families affected by fatal car accidents to feel confident investigators are getting all clear, convincing evidence. That way, they can be sure their loved one's story is at least being told fairly. Whether or not that's happening here remains to be seen.
