Commentary
Even if this crash didn't involve a tractor, which isn't exactly common, I would have concerns about how authorities are handling the details. This is because I see a lot of motorcycle accidents where authorities jump to conclusions. A lot of folks unfortunately have a negative bias against bikers, and this can harm investigations unless careful steps are taken to focus solely on the evidence surrounding the crash.
It could be that authorities here have been careful to let the facts speak for themselves. However, it's often prudent for victims and families to follow up with authorities and address any concerns or doubts. That way, if it seems details aren't adding up or authorities are unable to provide clarity, steps can be taken to bring more thorough independent accident reconstructionists into the fold so they can set make sure no important details slip through the cracks.
