Basilio Vasquez Injured in Car Accident on Brittmoore Park Dr. in Harris County, TX
Harris County, TX — August 9, 2024, Basilio Vasquez was injured following a car accident at approximately 12:15 p.m. along Brittmoore Park Drive.
According to authorities, 49-year-old Basilio Vasquez was traveling in a northbound Dodge Caliber on Ashley Court at the Brittmoore Drive intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, an eastbound Toyota Tundra pickup truck on Brittmoore Avenue failed to stop for the stop sign, entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This led to a T-bone collision between the front-end of the pickup truck and the left side of the Caliber.
Vasquez suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
