Commentary by Michael Grossman
Something not a lot of people consider after serious car accidents is that there needs to be a distinct reason for the injuries as well as the crash. They aren't always the same. For example, only one person had serious injuries here. Was that just the natural result of the crash, or could it be that an airbag or seatbelt malfunctioned? That would certainly present a far more significant challenge for investigators, so hopefully authorities here did their due diligence and let the evidence speak for itself.
