My hope is that authorities didn't let the age of the driver affect their investigations. While it is true that younger drivers are statistically more likely to make mistakes behind the wheel, it's up to the evidence to tell the story. If authorities just jump to conclusions and assume a kid was speeding or on their phone, they might let something important or unusual slip through the cracks. So if there wasn't even a careful, diligent accident investigation into this crash, it's possible there could be crucial details yet to be brought to light.
