Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Single-vehicle accidents are sometimes more challenging than people realize. Authorities don't always have the motivation or resources to give them enough attention, so important details can slip through the cracks. That's one of the reasons independent accident reconstructionists are an important alternative to consider.
Whenever we have cases where we have independent accident reconstructionists dig into things, they look into even unlikely possible factors. Vehicle defects, medical issues, tire failure, road design flaws, alcohol, hit-and-runs, poor signage or lighting, etc. Sometimes, they're able to show authorities missed something, which helps the victims and families get the answers they deserve so they can work toward a fair resolution.
Maybe those efforts here wouldn't reveal anything new, but that's up to the evidence to say for sure.
