Newton County, MO — August 4, 2025, One person was killed and one was injured following a car accident that occurred at around 8:58 P.M. on US 60.
According to reports, a Ford Focus operated by a 95-year-old woman was traveling eastbound on US 60 when it crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming Dodge 3500.
When first responders arrive don the scene they found the Ford driver fatally injured and pronounced her deceased, while the Dodge driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Officials have not released an update on the investigation's status, or on the Dodge driver's condition.
