Commentary by Michael Grossman
The reported cause for this accident may see pretty open-and-shut, but it's important all car accidents are taken seriously. There's no telling when unique circumstances may have contributed to the accident, and that requires careful investigations into even unlikely possibilities. Finding blame is only part of the story—having clear evidence pointing to what happened and why is far more important. Were authorities able to get that kind of evidence here?
