Commentary by Michael Grossman
People often think car accidents are simple because they're common. In reality, though, they can all present their own unique challenges. That's why it's important to know if authorities took the investigations seriously. If they took the time to ensure the victims and families got all the answers they needed, that's good. But there are times those efforts come up short, and that's when a family might prefer having another set of eyes look things over. That way, if anything important slipped through the cracks, it can be brought to light.
