Woman Killed, Chadd McLaughlin, 2 Injured in Car Accident in Frisco, TX
Collin County, TX — October 8, 2023, a woman was killed and Chadd McLaughlin and two others were hurt in a car accident on 6:38 a.m. on Eldorado Parkway.
Preliminary information about the accident released by authorities says that it took place at the intersection of Eldorado Parkway and Preston Road.

According to officials, 51-year-old Chadd McLaughlin was in a Ford F-150 going northbound along Preston Road. While crossing through the Eldorado Parkway intersection, authorities believe a westbound Dodge Charger may have run the light, resulting in a collision with McLaughlin's vehicle. This led to the F-150 hitting a Ford F-250 on southbound lanes of Preston Road.
Due to the collision, McLaughlin sustained incapacitating injuries. A woman riding in the Dodge was killed. The Dodge driver had non-incapacitating injuries, and it's unconfirmed if the F-250 driver, Adam Guzman, had injuries.
Authorities said alcohol was a possible factor in the crash. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
