Commentary
A lot of red flags naturally come up when it comes to reports of someone on the wrong side of the road. While those red flags are important to look into, there could always be something unusual that led to the accident.
A while back here in Dallas, for example,, there was a toll road seeing an unusually high number of wrong-way driving incidents. Researchers eventually figured out that the "Do Not Enter" signs along the roadway were installed too high up. Crews lowered the signs, and sure enough, the amount of wrong way incidents significantly went down.
I'm not saying that happened here, and the common reasons people get on the wrong side of the road should absolutely be investigated, as well. My point is that jumping to conclusions won't do any good for those actually affected by the accident. They deserve to know they're getting all the answers they deserve.
