David Cochrane Killed in Alleged Intoxicated Driver Accident in Lubbock, TX
Lubbock, TX — June 30, 2023, David Cochrane was killed following an alleged intoxicated driving accident late Friday on Quaker Avenue.
According to details released by the Lubbock Police Department, the crash happened in the area of the Quaker Avenue and 34th Street intersection.

Current information suggests that 19-year-old David Cochrane was on north Quaker Avenue at the time. While there, police say that a southbound driver somehow struck Cochrane. This resulted in serious injuries, but the injuries later proved fatal.
The southbound driver was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the accident. Police say there is a pending charge for Intoxication Manslaughter. No further information is available at this time.
