Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Something that makes a drowning like this particularly more complex than others is that it happened in an area where there are meant to be a lot of people. That raises concerns with supervision, training of lifeguards, and even physical design of the water park and whether or there are obstructions to sight lines that made an accident like this inevitable. It's one thing to get answers for a family, and it's another to find out if someone needs to be held accountable. It's even more challenging to make sure there are no issues which could lead to this happening again in the future.
