Driver Killed in DTE Energy Truck Accident on Pelham Road in Allen Park, MI
Allen Park, MI — July 17, 2025, a driver sustained fatal injuries following an accident with a DTE Energy truck Thursday afternoon on Pelham Road.
According to preliminary details, the crash happened near the intersection of Pelham Road and Wick Road.
Investigators said that a pickup was going along Pelham Road at the time when it somehow crashed into a DTE Energy generator truck. While facts are unconfirmed, a witness claimed the pickup may have been "trying to avoid" two other cars.
