Trenton, MO — November 6, 2024, a woman was injured following a rear-end truck accident at approximately 8:30 a.m. along State Highway 6.

According to authorities, a 19-year-old woman was traveling in a westbound Honda Civic on S.H. 6 at the State Route Z intersection when the accident took place.

The Honda was reportedly at a stop waiting to be able to make a safe left turn onto Route Z. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Civic was rear-ended by a westbound Peterbilt dump truck. The woman from the Honda suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the collision, though they were not described to have been life-threatening. She was flown to an area medical facility in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
