It's a lot more common to see cars lost control like this late at night or early in the morning when fatigue is a more common factor. This happening during daylight hours makes it that much more important to consider less common possibilities. Did a tire blowout? Was there a vehicle defect? Some sort of emergency? It's important for families to know that all possibilities are being explored so they can get the full story. Is that happening here, or will there need to be more thorough independent investigations?
