Ebonye Kennedy Killed, Xavion Mcqueen, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Houston, TX
UPDATE (January 17, 2024): Reports have been released that confirm the identity of the 24-year-old man who was injured in this accident as Xavion Mcqueen. The identity of the 29-year-old man who was also involved has yet to be confirmed.
UPDATE (December 1, 2023): The identity of the deceased victim in this accident has been confirmed as 42-year-old Ebonye Kennedy.
Houston, TX — November 23, 2023, one person was killed and two were injured in a single-car accident at around 2 a.m. along MLK Boulevard.
According to authorities, the accident took place along Martin Luther King Boulevard in the vicinity of Airport Boulevard.

For unknown reasons, a Volvo disregarded a red light and collided with a curb, causing the vehicle to leave the road way and crash into a tree. The identities of the three victims involved in this accident have yet to be made public. The woman who had been driving the Volvo was declared dead at the scene of the accident. The other two occupants of the vehicle were transported to local medical facilities in order to receive treatment for injuries incurred during the incident.
The cause of the accident has not been confirmed; it is under investigation by local authorities. There are no additional details available at this time.
