Edwardo Colon Killed, 1 Injured in Single-car Accident in Floresville, TX
Wilson County, TX — July 26, 2025, Edwardo Colon was killed and another person was injured due to a single-car accident at about 2:00 a.m. along U.S. 181.
According to authorities, two people—a 23-year-old man who was behind the wheel and 18-year-old Edwardo Santos Colon—were traveling in a northbound Acura TL on 10th Street (U.S. Highway 181) in the vicinity of the Wilson Drive intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Acura was involved in a single-vehicle collision in which it struck a median barrier and overturned. Colon reportedly sustained fatal injuries over the course of the accident. The man who had been behind the wheel suffered serious injuries, as well. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
