Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
With a single-vehicle wreck, one of the first things to consider is if authorities gave the crash the attention it deserves. Sometimes, these accidents are treated as a low priority, so investigations can end up shallow or incomplete. I can't begin to count how many victims and families I've talked to after crashes like this who felt authorities just jumped to conclusions and moved on. Authorities here may have been more thorough, but it's often important to make certain rather than just taking that for granted.
