Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
It's not unusual for there to be few details available about a single-vehicle wreck. It becomes concerning, though, if there is as little available information behind the scenes as there is in the public eye. Sometimes, authorities treat crashes like this as a low priority, and that can lead to shoddy investigations. That's why a lot of people end up looking for independent investigators who can pick up the slack. Even of something might seem unlikely, it's important to consider the evidence rather than jump to conclusions. If authorities here were too hasty in their efforts, then it could be that a second set of eyes would show there's more to this story than meets the eye.
