Gezahegne Bikila Sr. Killed in Car Accident in Dallas, TX
Dallas, TX — May 12, 2024, Gezahegne Bikila Sr. was killed in a car accident at around 2:42 a.m. along the LBJ Freeway.
Preliminary events surrounding the accident say that it happened along eastbound lanes of the freeway near Royal Lane.

According to officials, 51-year-old Gezahegne Bikila Sr. was on foot at the time along the side of the freeway. There had been a previous accident that left a tractor-trailer stopped along the side of the interstate. An approaching vehicle veered left toward the shoulder, and there it struck Gezahegne Bikila.
Due to the accident, Gezahegne Bikila was fatally injured. There were no other reported injuries. At this time, additional details are unavailable.

Sometimes, authorities get so caught up in securing the scene that they can't give proper attention to a full accident reconstruction.
