Glenda Huff Roth Killed in Fallen Cable Accident in San Antonio, TX
San Antonio, TX — May 2, 2025, Glenda Huff Roth sustained fatal injuries due to a chain-reaction accident that happened around 11:00 a.m. on Oak Ledge Drive.
Current details about the accident say it happened outside of a home along Oak Ledge.

Authorities say that 64-year-old Glenda Huff Roth was outside of her home doing yard work. While doing so, it appears a dump truck passing by hit a branch on a tree, knocking it down onto a fiber optic line. This then caused the cable to fall, and it struck Glenda Huff Roth.
Glenda Huff Roth reportedly went to a hospital with serious head injuries. Huff Roth ultimately died due to her injuries. The series of events surrounding the accident remain under investigation.
