Man Injured in Hit-and-run Accident on North Fwy. in Houston, TX
Harris County, TX — October 18, 2025, a man sustained injuries following a hit-and-run accident at around 11:00 p.m. along the North Freeway.
Preliminary details surrounding the accident say it happened along northbound lanes of I-45 at the intersection of Rankin Road.
According to officials, a 43-year-old man was in a Chevy Corvette going along the interstate. It appears another vehicle crashed with the Corvette as well as a Hyundai Genesis. The vehicle that hit them apparently left the scene.
Due to the crash, the Corvette driver was seriously injured. No other injuries were reported. A description of the runaway vehicle wasn't given.

If authorities still haven't located the runaway driver here, it might help if they can provide more information to the public. A lot of the time, someone in the community can help them connect the dots and identify the suspect. Once that happens, steps can be taken to find out why the driver fled and to ensure there are appropriate consequences.
