Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Alleged safety violations can make a fatal work accident seem straightforward at first glance. However, Texas work fatality law rarely allows for simple conclusions in these cases. Whether a family has any clear legal path forward depends on many different factors. There isn't always a guaranteed process that automatically looks out for a family’s needs. That means meaningful resolutions often require deliberate legal strategy rather than just relying on the authorities to handle everything on their own.
