One of the most common concerns folks come to me with after a single-vehicle wreck is simple: How can they be sure authorities are telling their side of the story fairly? Generally, that requires gathering as much evidence as possible, and letting the evidence speak for itself. That's not always something authorities prioritize.
I've had countless car accidents come across my desk where authorities were more focused on looking for blame than just gathering the facts. That's when there usually needs to be an independent investigation that can verify details and uncover anything authorities may have overlooked. That allows the full story to be told. Are proper steps being taken to see that happens here?
