Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Authorities didn't mention why there was an unoccupied vehicle on the highway or where it came from. People sometimes think that a vehicle being stationary suggests the other driver had to be at fault. But if there's an empty vehicle on a highway as it's getting dark, that can be a serious hazard. It's important to know how visible this vehicle was, why it was there, and who it belonged to. If authorities have answered those questions, they're not telling the whole story.
